# Clique

> Clique is a one-person web design studio in Portland, Oregon, founded and run by Julian Parsons, a 15-year-old high school student. Clique builds a client's finished website before any payment is taken: the client sees the completed site and pays only if they decide to keep it. A 1 to 3 page site is $750. Larger sites cost more. Optional monthly maintenance is $99 and can be cancelled any month. There is no deposit and no contract.

## The offer

Clique's model is build-first. The sequence is: a 20-minute call, then Julian builds the client's real website using their photos, services, and prices, then about 14 days later he sends a link to the finished live site. If the client wants it, they pay the agreed price and receive the files and logins. If they do not want it, they pay nothing and owe nothing.

No payment is taken before the client has seen the finished site. This applies at every price, not only at the $750 starter price. The price is agreed in writing after the call and before the build begins.

## Pricing

- Website build, 1 to 3 pages: $750, paid only after the client approves the finished site
- Website build, 4 to 7 pages and 8+ pages: priced above $750. Exact figures are produced by the cost estimator on the website
- Monthly maintenance: $99 per month, optional, cancel any month
- E-commerce or online store add-on: $200
- Rush delivery, 7 days instead of 14: $150
- Logo and brand kit add-on: $175
- AI chatbot assistant add-on: $250

## Process

1. Discovery. A 20-minute call about the client's business, customers, and goals.
2. The plan. Julian sends what he will build, the page count, and the price. The client approves before the build starts.
3. Build. Custom design, built mobile-first, SEO-ready, tested across devices.
4. Launch. Julian sends a link to the finished site. If the client keeps it, they pay and it is theirs. If not, they owe nothing.

## What is included in every build

- Custom design, not a template
- Mobile-first responsive layout
- SEO-ready foundation, clean structure and fast load times
- Delivery in roughly 14 days
- Full ownership of the files and logins after payment, with no lock-in and no required recurring fee
- For the first 30 days after launch, small changes are usually completed the same day

## Ownership

The client owns the website outright. After payment, Julian sends the files and the logins. The site continues to work with no further contact and can be hosted anywhere.

## Availability and response time

Clique takes one project at a time. Julian is based in NW Portland, Oregon, serves the Portland metro area, and works with clients anywhere remotely. He typically replies to texts within the hour.

## What Clique does not do

- Clique does not require a deposit, a retainer, or a contract
- Clique does not offer ongoing SEO campaigns or paid advertising management. The maintenance plan covers content updates, security updates, performance monitoring, backups, and priority support
- Clique does not build mobile apps or custom software
- Clique has no long-term lock-in and does not host sites on the client's behalf as a condition of the work
